The Strike System
(Explained by the Admins of Validon - as enforced by the Owner)»Guidelines For Discipline
It is asked that we all get along. Certainly there will be times when butting heads is unavoidable OOC. Some merely do not 'mesh' well. If this is the case, please keep things as civil as possible. It is possible to play without berating others. If it is a case of plainly not getting along, then please do not play together, or the option to leave the group is always open. Let's just all get along!
There will be a "three strike" rule applied to any OOC Issues that involve the mistreatment of others or Crossing OOC into IC. Should a member have a problem with another member OOC, they need to inform one of the administrators as soon as they can. They must provide at all times a log of a chat/IM/email as proof of the offense. Should they wrongly accuse someone, the same rules below will be applied to them.
Any behavior OOC among members that attacks, harasses, inflames, bashes, or otherwise seeks to disrupt the forum will result in removal. Those that engage in any behavior like this will be removed from the forum regardless of 1st, 2nd, or 3rd offense and regardless of their character's rank, status, or affiliation.

¤First Infraction
The member will receive a written warning (email) from an administrator regarding the offense.
¤Second Infraction
The person will be called to meet OOC with an admin, or admins, to discuss the infractions and find out what the cause is. They will be put on a 3-4 week probation and a verbal warning will be given stating that on the next infraction they will be removed from the forum. If - within that probation or after - the problem reoccurs, they will be dismissed immediately.
¤Third Infraction
Permanent dismissal from Broken World.
Joining the Storyline
Please allow up to a day to receive word for the Owner about your approval. Even if he is online, he could be extremely busy with something else, and doesn’t have the time to thoroughly read the application. Please make sure you read the site in its entirety – if you make errors in RP that have been explained here on the site you’ll not only look bad, but it shows your lack of dedication to the storyline.
- A Role-Player is only allowed 1 Main Character.
- A Role-Player is only allowed as many Supporting Characters as they'd like.
Main Characters can be the focus of Storylines and are also protected by the consent rules. A role-player can have only one main character, unless their participation or development of a supporting character warrants them being moved up into the ranks of a main character.
Supporting characters cannot be the focus of a storyline. A role-player can have as many supporting characters as they want and are encouraged to make as many as they want so that the storyline can feel a bit more fuller and add a sense of reality by giving main characters family members, giving the bars more patrons, or most importantly, having more scavengers to help benefit Meteor City or the Underworld.
General Battle System:
COMMON SENSE. There is no battle system in Broken World.
I repeat: there is no battle system in Broken World.
Fights are to be talked over, planned, and appropriate for the progression of the storyline.
The story is valued far greater than your character.
